Horizon Recruitment Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee and manage AR operations, reporting directly to the AP/AR Manager. This individual will ensure timely invoicing, collections, and reporting, while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting broader accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the accounts receivable process, including invoicing for external clients and intercompany transactions.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding AR, ensuring timely collections and reporting trends to management.
- Maintain accurate internal records for AR transactions and provide supporting details as needed.
- Collaborate with team members on invoice preparation outside of system workflows and load data from employee expense platforms into accounting software.
- Approve expense submissions and perform reconciliations for various corporate bank accounts.
- Prepare AR-related reports and analyses, assisting with ad hoc requests as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in accounting or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of AR experience, ideally within a corporate or multinational environment.
- Knowledge of real estate operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Yardi is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
