Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Vancouver Head Office
Contract: 1-Year Contract (Potential for Extension)
Accounts Receivable Specialist, VANCOUVER BC
We are looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team at our Vancouver Head Office. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the ideal candidate has prior experience in collections and accounts receivables and strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Ensure all customer payments including cash, credit card, cheques and post-dated cheques are posted and managed on a timely basis
· Ensure billings are completed and the balance of A/R accounts are maintained and reconciled
· Maintain a healthy working capital ratio for A/R days
· Communicate with customers regarding account status and arrange a payment schedule
· Respond to customer inquiries/disputes in a timely manner
· Able to facilitate multiple email accounts.
· Prepare cash and cheque payments for bank deposit
· Post debit and credit notes for discount and price adjustments to customer accounts
· Maintain aging A/R listing
· Assist with month-end related tasks and ad-hoc reporting
· Monitor and keep track of employee allowances
· Performs other ad hoc duties/assignments as needed from the Management
What we are looking for:
· Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
· Working knowledge of SAP
· Able to use excel and word
· Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Time management and detail-oriented
· Excellent team player as well as the ability to work independently
