Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Lease Accounting Manager.
Approve all lease and sub-lease accounting prepared by the offshore team (70% of the role).
Finalize accounting schedules, perform month-end tasks, and handle ad-hoc requirements (30% of the role).
Conduct and lead meetings to ensure alignment and progress with on shore and off shore teams.
Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of strong technical accounting knowledge.
CPA or CA certification.
Understanding of financial statements, including annual reports and lease-related disclosures.
Proficiency in SAP for general accounting.
Excellent communication skills, will be able to speak with execs.
Experience with lease accounting software such as Lucernex or CoStar.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Aspiration to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in lease accounting.
Eagerness to learn and ask questions.
