Overview:
We are seeking a Payroll Systems Analyst to assist the Oracle HCM Payroll Implementation Lead in rolling out the Oracle HCM Payroll. This role will focus particularly on supporting payroll unit and reconciliation testing to ensure accurate implementation.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and facilitating requirements and future state documentation to capture business needs and configuration specific to payroll.
Support the configuration & validation of the Oracle HCM Payroll module in partnership with internal business leads and implementation partners.
Facilitate communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project progress and objectives.
Assist in tracking dependencies across related Oracle HCM workstreams, such as Core HR, Talent Management, Benefits, Onboarding, and Compensation.
Work closely with the reporting team to ensure that Payroll-related reports are tested according to requirements.
Take an active role in payroll unit and reconciliation testing, ensuring accuracy and compliance by working closely with both internal teams and implementation partners.
Promote industry best practices for configuration and business process optimization across the platform.
Education:
Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience managing payroll for a mid-to-large, complex organization, including handling multiple pay groups, unionized employees, time processing, and system integrations.
Experience with at least 1-2 implementations of a Tier 1 payroll system (such as SAP, Oracle, UKG, Workday, Ceridian, ADP, etc.).
Experience running Oracle HCM payroll or implementing Oracle HCM Payroll will be considered as an asset.
Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale business process transformations.
Proven experience in co-ordinating with cross-functional teams and facilitating workshop to internal stake holders.
Knowledge of relevant labor laws and collective agreements is considered an asset.
