Hensall Co-op is seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral member of our team! The Credit Manager will manage the daily activities of the AR/Credit Department, liaise with partners, conduct credit reviews and establish credit limits, and provide exceptional service to our customers and members. This a full-time position at our Hensall location.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily activities of the AR/Credit Department
- Ensure all team members understand the credit and collections policies and procedures.
- Conduct credit reviews of new and existing customers to determine credit worthiness, establish credit limits for both Domestic and Export accounts.
- Resolve credit related issues with customers.
- Collect all overdue accounts, collection accounts and previously written off accounts.
- Work collaboratively with sales staff to resolve outstanding account issues.
- Provide personable and professional customer service experience to customers, members, and investors.
- Processing of online payments.
- Liaise with Farm Credit Canada and other partners.
- Ensure that all HC employees understand the credit policies, procedures, and controls so that they can be followed correctly.
- Attend member functions, farm shows, grower meetings and other corporate events to network with current and potential customers/members.
- Meet members and potential members to discuss their investment needs.
- Provide support to the Membership & Customer Service Officer.
- Establish priorities, initiate new ideas and concepts to deal with problems, and to improve efficiency.
- Understand and follow all HC Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Education in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related program
- 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry
