Job Responsibilities
This position supports both the accounts payable and receivable functions by completing the following

Enter vendor invoices into the dealer business system

Reconcile vendor statements and accurately maintain vendor records

Organize, maintain, and co-ordinate office records and files
-
Conduct AR collection efforts including phone calls and emails with customers to follow up on overdue accounts and arrange payment

Answer questions or concerns relating to collection issues, account issues, discrepancies, payments, etc.

Work with customers to investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies

Resolve issues with strong problem-solving methodology

Accurately maintain accounts receivable records, apply customer payments, and update customer information

Complete various reconciliations and analysis to support the finance function

Assist accounting team with daily banking and cash management
Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in an Accounting/Finance discipline preferred

Strong people and communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Self-starter with the ability to perform duties independently and able to work in a team environment

Able to meet deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
-
Strong understanding of financial systems and standard desktop applications including Microsoft Office
