Genesa CPA Corp. is searching for a self-driven and curious staff accountant to join their team on a full-time basis. Experience in accounting fields is not required, however relevant and up-to-date education in the accounting field is a must. It is also a requirement that you are ready to go into the CPA program or you’ve already started it. The ideal candidates must be highly adaptive individuals with a curiosity and drive for growth in professional and personal settings. They must possess technical, leadership, and relationship skills. An individual with a deep willingness to understand the core of one-self will thrive in this position as empowerment mentorship will play a crucial element in learning.
Qualifications
- Completed a post-secondary degree in accounting or a related field, relevant and up-to-date education.
- Ready to enrol in the Canadian CPA Program or currently enrolled.
Responsibilities
- Perform tax preparation services for personal, corporate, partnership and trust clients.
- Perform full cycle accounting, bookkeeping, and compiling financial statements.
- Client meetings and communication; responsible for requesting client information and arranging client meetings.
- Partner and manager communication; Responsible for timely communication with partners and managers regarding client engagements and professional development.
