General Summary
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for assisting in the coding and entry of invoices from vendors and customers.

- Responding to accounts payable and accounts receivable inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal users.
- Assisting facility personnel with oracle account payable and purchasing issues.
- Receiving and coding accounts payable invoices to send to IVR for processing.
- Weekly follow-up with Vendpay to correct invoice issues in Oracle.
- Assisting staff accountants & Financial Analyst with the month-end billing process.
- Providing required data support for monthly reporting to Financial Analyst.
- Sending vendor form to supplier to complete to get vendor setup in Oracle.
- Entering purchase requisitions in Oracle & working with procurement team in US for PO creation.
- Reconciling vendor statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
- Working on special projects & Ad-hoc items as requested by Accounting Supervisor and or accounting team.

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent education. Two (2) or more years of accounting and/or accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processing background is preferred.
- Familiarity with general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud or experience with similar accounting systems.
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
