Securco Services Inc. is looking for an experienced AR specialist to add to our team at the Nanaimo office location. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and resourceful, with an aptitude for learning and keeping pace with ever-advancing technology.
As a vital member of our team, you will manage accounts receivable/accounts payable functions and human resources responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have accurate data entry skills, able to collect payments in a timely and efficient manner. Experience in processing payroll, employee onboarding and customer service skills are required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (A/R):
- Collect payments from clients
- Post cash receipts to software system
- Manage outstanding balance collections
- Set up recurring payments and input them into the Alarm system
Data Entry:
- Enter tickets and other relevant data accurately
Invoice Management:
- Review monitoring invoices from clients/vendors
- Ensure clients have proper payment options
- Set up vendor payments as needed
Financial Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee group health plans
- Process payroll, including tracking employee hours, and managing vacation and group health costs
- Set up and maintain recurring payments in the Alarm system
Client Interaction:
- Provide clients with appropriate payment options and assist in setting them up
Human Resources:
- Oversee new hire onboarding processes
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with data entry and using financial software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience in accounts receivable and payment processing
- Knowledge of payroll processing and group health management
- Ability to handle outstanding balance collections efficiently
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
