Alive is eagerly searching for that perfect fit, someone who is at their core a highly detailed, customer care focused, professional with a proven track record as a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist.
A day in the life of an Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process.
- Prepare customer statements, consolidated bills, and invoices; reconcile customer accounts in both Canada and the USA.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data.
- Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner, issuing claims, refunds, and adjustment memos as needed.
- Manage collection efforts and associated functions; remind clients about upcoming payments or past-due accounts.
- Produce weekly reports; create ad hoc reports for key stakeholders and provide digital copies of records when requested.
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries related to accounts receivables.
- Assist in monthly closing, annual audit requirements, general financial management, analysis, and other special projects as required.
Your required skills
- 2-3 years of experience with collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable
- Outstanding ability to communicate confidently, verbally and in writing
- Salesforce CRM & Microsoft Dynamics GP knowledge preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
- Displays service excellence in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- High level of integrity and work ethics
- A positive can-do attitude!

- Advanced education in a business discipline or accounting is an asset

Work Arrangement:
· This is an in-office role based in Richmond, B.C.
· The position includes a work-from-home opportunity for 1 day per week, following the initial training period
