The ideal candidate will be able to effectively coordinate meetings and other office events. They should be comfortable answering inbound phone calls, distributing mail to employees and handling outgoing mail. They should also possess a friendly and outgoing demeanor so they can effectively interact with office visitors, customers and team members.
- Process shipping packing slips, commercial invoices and labels
- Serve as a main point of contact for day-to-day activities
- General administrative duties for the office
- Co-ordinate all freight with carriers
- Balance all shipments and invoicing at month end
- Ability to multi-task and work under limited supervision
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills, and negotiation skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Quickbook OL.
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize in fast-paced environment
- Strong organization and decision-making skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
