Position: Full-Time Bookkeeper
Quantum Accounting Services is looking for a full-time bookkeeper to join our team. Reporting to the President, this position will support our work in professional accounting, bookkeeping, consulting, financial advisory and tax services for small and growing businesses, start-up companies, arts organizations and special events groups.
Responsibilities:
· Bookkeeping and financial duties for multiple clients, including:
· Entries to Sage and Quickbooks (desktop and online)
· Accounts receivables and payables
· Preparing bank deposits
· Preparing bank reconciliations
· Preparing payroll
· Financial statement preparation
· Client relations
Qualifications:
This role requires 3 years’ experience in public practice with “full-cycle” accounting, including aspects of payables, receivables, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Also essential is a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Sage and QuickBooks, as well as experience with MS Office applications. A strong command of the English language, both written and in interpersonal communications is required. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently with multiple clients with diverse and changing needs. Some local travel (greater Vancouver) will be required.
