Job Summary
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Duties
- Utilize accounting software to process payroll for employees
- Maintain accurate records of employee compensation, taxes, and deductions
- Collaborate with HRIS to ensure accurate employee data
- Conduct data entry for new hires, terminations, and changes in payroll
- Work with various payroll systems such as QuickBooks, Ceridian, and ADP
- Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies or issues
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proficiency in using payroll software QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills to review and analyze payroll data
- Experience with data entry and attention to detail
- Certification in Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) is an asset
- Knowledge of HRIS systems is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
