Copper Tip Energy Service Inc. is seeking a Senior Controller to join our Head Office team in Nisku, Alberta located in a new 29,000 sq ft. Corporate office with state-of-the-art mechanical shop and employee gym on premises

Duties include but are not limited to:
To provide support for the day-to-day operations of Copper Tip, which would include the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General accounting and Reporting.
To ensure that the processes and procedures are administered within established standards, and in compliance with federal, provincial and state laws & regulations.
Requirements:
The successful candidate:
- will have a recognized Canadian business commerce degree or equivalent;
- must have or are working towards a CPA designation;
- must have a minimum of 5 years working in progressive experience through accounting roles, with a minimum of 3 years of direct experience and knowledge working a Head Office environment.
- will have proven and progressive experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll;
- will have experience with full-cycle accounting including knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures;
- enjoys multiple roles and excels in a fast paced, positive work environment;
- will have strong oral and written communication skills;
- will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- has strong personal initiative.
- is highly organized and detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities.
- is capable of mastering new software quickly.
- has strong experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as online technologies.
- proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, fostering open communication and contributing to a positive working environment.
- demonstrated success in adapting to evolving business needs, implementing process improvements, and staying current with industry trends and regulatory changes.
- strong analytical skills
- working or having worked in a service based business would be an asset;
- experience with Provincial Sales Tax reporting and filing would be an asset.
- experience in Oil and Gas Service Industry environments would be an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
