Role Summary:
Inbox Booths is seeking a motivated Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a pivotal member of our growing company, you will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry and Recordkeeping:
- Accurately record financial transactions, including income, expenses, and other financial activities.
- Maintain financial records in an organized and systematic manner.
- Reconciliation:
- Assist in reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process and manage accounts payable, including verifying invoices, tracking expenses, and issuing payments.
- Assist in managing accounts receivable, including generating invoices, tracking customer payments, and managing collections.
- Record Maintenance:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentations.
- File and archive financial documents for easy retrieval and auditing.
- Software Proficiency:
- Utilize accounting software and tools to manage financial data efficiently.
- Stay updated on the latest accounting software and technologies.
- Communication:
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and clients to gather financial information.
- Respond to inquiries and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in bookkeeping or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording financial transactions.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and maintain financial records efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Integrity: Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality when dealing with financial information.
