The Chambers Group is looking for a full-time Financial Accountant based in Vernon, BC and the position would report to the Director of Finance.

Main Duties :
- Full cycle accounting for multiple companies including accounts payable and receivable, inventory, intercompany transactions, and preparation of journal entries
- Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing adjusting journal entries
- Reconciling sub-ledger to general account balances
- Posting monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals
- Assist with cross functional financial reporting requirements including gathering information needs, reports creation, dashboards, and KPI analysis
- Assist with data analysis to support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting Work with other members of the finance team to identify areas for process improvements
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business Administration
- Have a minimum of three years of full cycle accounting experience demonstrating the ability to accurately calculate, post, correct and manage figures and financial records
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking and organizational skills, with a good dose of common sense and initiative
- Experience in a multi-entity organization
- Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations for self and team
- Ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback
- Smart, fun, goal oriented and driven by integrity
Preferred/Asset :
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA)
