Job duties:
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Co-ordinate activities with other work departments
• Prepare and submit AES/CERS
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with our clients, vendors, and overseas agents
• Prepare documents for sorting and distribution of cargo - i.e., distribute completed arrival notices, e-manifest filing
• Facilitate all aspects of cargo importation until goods are successfully delivered to clients
• Maintain profitability of accounts and identify opportunities of profit increases by negotiating with vendors and agents
• Highly motivated and detail-oriented team player with strong communication skills and customer service skills
• Communicate with carriers as necessary emailing bills of lading, carrier confirmations and shipment alerts
• Ability to work in fast pace environment
• Experiences in freight forwarding/logistics industry is an asset.
• Identify patterns with shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend actions for improvement
