We are currently looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to help our growing firm.
Job description
As a Staff Accountant you would be expected to :
- Prepare Notice to Readers, Review engagements, small Audits and other financial mandates.
- Prepare corporate, personal, estate and HST/GST tax returns.
- Respond to clients questions and queries.
- Communicate and follow up with CRA on behalf of clients.
- Research and analyze income tax queries.
- And more.
Qualifications :
- CPA designation preferred but not required
- Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience.
- Ability to speak and write in both French and English.
- Proficient with using Caseware, Microsoft and excel.
- Experience with DtMax preferred, but not required.
- Detailed-oriented, organized and can work independently
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure, decisiveness, propose sound alternative and conclusions
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
