As per the TBS common hybrid work model for the Federal Public Service, there is an in-person requirement of at least 3 days per week in the office.
A pool of partially or essentially qualified candidates may be established through this process and may be used to staff identical or similar positions at the Department of National Defence.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
CT-FIN-01:
- Successful completion of two (2) years of a post-secondary program, from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, or economics
CT-FIN-02:
- A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, or economics AND experience related to positions in the Financial Management subgroup
OR
- Eligibility for a recognized Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
Acceptable Specialization:
- At DND, specialization at the CT-FIN-01 level is defined as successful completion of four (4) college or university level accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, or economics courses
- At DND, specialization at the CT-FIN-02 level and above is defined as the successful completion of six (6) university level accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, or economics courses

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
CT-FIN-01:
- Experience in providing advice and guidance on a variety of financial management topics to clients
- Experience in analyzing financial data, or preparing financial reports
CT-FIN-02:
- Significant* experience in two (2) or more of the following areas:
- Financial planning and budgeting
- Financial reporting
- Financial policy
- Financial Systems
- Internal Control
- Accounting Operations
- Auditing
- Tax programs or services
- Costing
- Significant* experience providing financial advice and guidance to management or clients
- Significant experience is defined as depth and breadth of experience associated with completing the duties of the position for a period of at least two (2) financial cycles.
