Payroll Administrator
Overview:

As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Process biweekly salary and hourly payroll for employees using ADP Workforce Now ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
· Process bi-weekly US payroll - Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
· Handle payroll inquiries from employees and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
· Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and changes are reflected in the payroll system.
· Prepare reports for management summarizing payroll activities.
· Assist in payroll audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
· Stay updated on payroll best practices and legislation changes to ensure adherence to regulations.
· Manage the administration of the pension plan, adding/removing members and making bi-weekly contributions.
· Manage company allowances such as safety shoes, uniforms.
· Manage programs such as loans program & attendance program.
· Create ROE's as required.
· Primary contact with CRA and Service Canada as required.
· Support the HR team, as required
Qualifications:
· Prior experience in Payroll administration, preferably 3+ years.
· Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is an asset.
· Familiarity with duties including account reconciliation and data entry.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll information.
· Advanced computer skills, including word and excel.
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
- Knowledge of payroll tax laws and ESA.
- A payroll certification (CPA) or in progress, is an asset.
