ACCOUNTANT
The successful candidate must have a “ hands on” attitude and possess the following technical skills and qualifications:
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EDUCATION:
- CA or CPA Designation or equivalent working experience
- Working knowledge of Sage 300, A/P, A/R, GL and Payroll
- Computer literate, MS Word, Excel & some knowledge of MRP Systems for Manufacturing Industry
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years experience
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional attitude and excellent work ethic
- Able to work in a team environment
- Strong external and internal customer service
ROLE:
- Perform all accounting process for the GL, such as creating , entering and posting batches in Sage 300
- Bank Reconciliations
- Preparation of Monthly and Year End financial Statement
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and year end Government reports, such as HST/GST returns , Payroll YE reporting
- Supervision of the A/P and A/R Staff
- Processing of by-weekly payroll
