Minimum 5 years of Bookkeeping/Accounting experience with certification. Proficient in all aspects of Sage 50 Accounting including:
- Payroll
- Government Remittances including HST, Source deductions, EHT, WSIB and knowledge of ROE & T4 electronic submittal
- General Ledger
- Monthly financial entries and reporting
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Bank Reconciliation
- Inventory
- Assign Job numbers to track expenses
- Knowledge of online banking procedures, Benefit Administration, Yearly Vehicle Registration and Insurance, Commercial Vehicle Registration
Purchase office & shop supplies. Activities including initiate Purchase requisition/order, receive supplies, reconcile invoices against PO's, competitive benchmarking of various sources and establish new suppliers, maintain database of supplies, sources and prices
Assist Operation Manager with scheduling production jobs by generating work orders, monitoring quality on the floor, tracking inventory of finished goods, scheduling incoming and outgoing trucks for shipping of goods, communicating with customers on job status.
Primary HR Contact. Establish new employees in the system.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe PDF
- Be an excellent communicator and have professional telephone manners
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Experience working in both a paper and paperless office
- Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and can work independently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 22 per week
