Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Supervisor, Accounts Payable on a permanent basis on our Finance team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and will be based in Saskatoon, SK.

What you’ll do:
- Monitor and manage accounts payable suppliers including their information and terms and the chart of accounts maintenance; using professional judgment, approve and validate new suppliers.
- Provide direction and supervision to a staff by assigning, coordinating, reviewing, and evaluating work performed to ensure assigned goals are met; this includes training, career development and performance management.
- Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders using a combination of direction and judgment, ensure proactive and timely resolution of issues.
- Recommend and implement process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the accounts payable functions.
- Act as Accounts Payable subject matter expert for various projects throughout FCL.

The Team : You will work closely with the Corporate Accounting team and our suppliers and will have a team that directly reports to you. You will report to the Manager, Corporate Accounting and be part of a team that strives to cultivate a culture of engagement, support, and teamwork.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
- Have 3 – 5 years of accounting experience including 1+ years of supervisory experience.
- Have a Bachelor degree in Commerce or Business (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have a professional designation in accounting is an asset.
- Are proficient in Excel and have experience using JD Edwards would be considered an asset.
