About the Role:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for all invoicing to our customers, responding to customers as well as internal inquiries, ensuring customer payments are applied appropriately and in a timely manner, issuing customer statements, accepting customer payments via Credit Card (where applicable), troubleshooting customer accounts, and performing some collection duties. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will maintain good customer relations, as well as identify and solve problems. The successful candidate will also perform clerical duties, such as word processing, filing and record systems, mail, and photocopying. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will also assist in other job-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma.
- Completion of secondary school would be considered an asset.
- Preference will be given to candidates with completion of college or other courses in accounting, bookkeeping or computer operation.
- Must have strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
- Must have attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Must understand the importance of confidentiality.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
