Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.
Duties
- Process payroll on a regular basis using accounting software Sage Accpac
- Analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
- Maintain employee records related to payroll, including timecards, benefits, and deductions
- Collaborate with the accounting and operations team to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with accounts payable tasks as needed
- Remit and pay WSIB, EHT and ETD
- Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees
- Process ROE's
Experience
- Previous experience in payroll processing or a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with accounting software and systems
- Knowledge of payroll procedures and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills to interact with employees regarding payroll inquiries
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
