Accounting Clerk – Part Time (20 hours / week, 11 am – 3 pm EST)
Toronto, Canada (office 3 days per week, 2 days remote), reports to Accounting Manager

Who you are:
Are you passionate about painting the vision of a new way for fleets to operate? We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. : Maintain accurate records of company financial transactions, ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, reconciling and consolidating transactions.
2. Manage the complete cycle of invoice processing, payment processing, and timely collection.
3. Ensure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to payroll policies and procedures.
4. Ensure timely filing and accurate remittance of all Canadian and US tax liabilities.
5. Correspond with external accountants and bookkeepers, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all financial matters.
6. Monitor company phone line and email for relevant queries and requests, providing prompt and courteous responses.
7. Attend necessary internal and external meetings, representing the financial interests of Mobilizz.
8. Perform monthly vendor bills and customer invoice reconciliations.
9. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors, addressing concerns and inquiries in a professional manner.
10. Correspond with internal Customer Success Team to ensure accurate billing of customer orders, returns, and RMAs.
Qualifications:
· Fluent in English
· Accounting degree or CPA designation (or working towards one)
· Permitted to work in Canada
· Proven experience in a similar role
· Canadian and US accounting experience
· Strong competency in using accounting software (QBO) and other technology tools (Staxbill, CRM)
· Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
