A privately-held company located in Vancouver is seeking a part-time Data entry clerk to join our accounting team. We are management company providing accounting service for liquor stores. Ideally this position would start as soon as possible. The preferences will be given to those who can work 20 hours per week ( Tuesday through Thursday). Proficient in Sage 50 ( Simply accounting ) is preferred.
Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Managing accounts payables and conducting weekly account payable reconciliation to ensure vendors’ payments
are accurate.
*Collaborating with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
* Maintaining daily cash and credit card balances worksheet.
* Performing weekly credit card reconciliations.
* Performing monthly bank reconciliations.
* Recording monthly sales and expenses.
*Updating and maintaining the general ledger.
*Any other office administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
* Experience in Simply Accounting
* Ability to take initiative with excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
*Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience
*Proficiency with MS Excel
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with a strong sense of urgency
*Professional and able to work independently

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
