Looking only for Someone with Experience in Logistics and Transportation. Must know and have experience with the following.

We are looking for an immediate hire.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RECEIVABLE/Payroll

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform all day-to-day accounting functions including accounts receivable and payable
Daily billing i.e. send invoices and POD's to customers
Need to make Driver's and Owner Operators payroll on semi-monthly basis
Maintain files for all accounting records
Collection calls
Approving Carrier and Vendor invoices for payment
Following up on any discrepancies with rates or other charges
Issuing payments to carriers
Keeping the AP aging current – timely follow-up and resolution
Updating and maintaining files and database records
Mailing payments, arranging wire transfers or processing fuel card payment
Responding to inquiries from carriers
Problem solving for any issues that may arise
All related filing and record keeping

Qualifications and Skills

Basic accounting knowledge required
Knowledge of Avaal & Fleet Manager (TMS) will be an asset
1+ years of related accounts payable/receivable experience preferred. Must be detail oriented.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while maintaining a fast, steady work pace
Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills
Effective planning and organization
Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
Able to work both independently and within a team environment
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Honest and trustworthy, respectful and accountable
