Our Opportunity
Allnorth has a great opportunity for an individual to contribute to our expanding company as an Accounting Assistant in Kelowna or Prince George, BC. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, this role will focus on supporting our business through timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and purchase orders, assisting with other accounts payable tasks, such as liaising with vendors, accurately coding invoices in the ERP, reconciling intercompany A/R and A/P accounts, and other accounting related tasks as assigned. You will be working for a growing company where you will have opportunities to gain exposure to various finance and operational functions of a professional services firm.
Requirements
- Accounting or bookkeeping technical certificate is preferred
- 3-5 years of directly related experience
- High proficiency in Excel and ability to learn and explore a new ERP system
- Strong attention to detail and proven problem solving skills
- High degree of self-motivation
- Strong internal customer focus – ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment.

- Competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 ~ annually depending on experience.
