Job Duties And Responsibilities

Complete an accurate and punctual full-cycle accounting process, including monthly journal entries and reconciliations of cash, bank accounts, credit cards and revenues.
Review night audit postings and reporting for accuracy.
Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable management.
Prepare and file GST, PST, MRDT, EHT, WCB and other statutory returns.
Support with payroll processing, including the issuing of T4 statements.
Prepare timely financial statements, summaries, and other cost-benefit analysis and financial management reports.
Coordinates the budgeting process.
Work with the executive committee to compile cash flow forecast information.
Support the accounts payable process with accurate posting, reporting and payment of invoices as required.
Assist in administering the corporate credit card program and merchant accounts.
Establish and maintain working relationships with both internal and external customers/partners including Resort Management, Rental Pool Owners, Financial Institutions, Accountant, and Auditors.
Respond to Rental Pool Owners requests for information.
Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of QuickBooks would be considered an asset.
Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.
Proficiency in keyboard skills and data entry.
Ability to Multi-task, Organize, and Prioritize Work
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour plus summer bonus

Job Type: Permanent

Schedule: Full Time - Monday to Friday working 8.30am-5pm
