Posting cash receipts, credit memos, and managing customer master data;

Producing monthly financial and management reports for cross-functional teams;

Performing customer account reconciliations and maintaining accounts receivable files and records;

Assisting with the period end close process (e.g. AR subledger closes, intercompany transactions);

Resolving invoice discrepancies and issues by communicating with customers and/or departmental associates;
-
Supporting the growth and evolution of the direct-to-consumer business;
-
Piloting global projects in the areas of AR automation and digitization;
-
Participating in financial system core versioning testing to facilitate the global rollout of new functionalities.
Scope

Partners with the Financial Operations Team to deliver world class Order to Cash processes

Works with the FP&A Team as well as Sales & Marketing Teams

Connects with other Mars entities across the globe to ensure consistency in financial delivery
Key Functional Competencies & Technical Skills

Demonstrated track record of working across an organization to deliver work on time and with high quality

Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Strong understanding of Excel and financial systems skills including Microsoft Office; Microsoft Navision experience is an asset

Basic accounting knowledge (e.g. revenue recognition, bad debt)

Self-starter with the ability to perform duties independently; must be able to work in a team environment

Able to meet deadlines, work in a fast paced environment and multi-task
Job Specifications/Qualifications
-
3+ years of accounts receivable experience with a focus on customer support and relationship management
-
Minimum high school diploma required
-
Knowledge of accounting standards and practices
