About the opportunity
Join our expanding "Make It Happen" team at Homestar! We are currently seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Update daily financial records.
- Accounts payables and receivables invoice processing.
- Run accounting software to process business transactions, disbursements, expenses, and receipts.
- Reconcile accounting or documentation discrepancies.
- Compile summaries and reports for management.
- Assist with month-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as an accounts payable clerk or similar role.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Data entry and word processing skills.
- Punctual
