Job Summary
Saint John Toyota is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Description

Coding and entering vendor invoices
Matching invoices to Purchase Orders
Process payments to vendors in line with vendor terms
Conduct account reconciliations of supplier statements
Contribute to month end process
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirement to perform some reception functions

Requirements

High School Diploma or an equivalent
Experience in accounts payable is considered an asset
Excellent organizational skills
The ability to work both independently and as a team
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Must be detail oriented

Hours: Monday through Friday 9am-6pm & every other Saturday 9am-1pm
