The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority is seeking a permanent, full-time Accounts Receivable Coordinator.

Reporting to the Financial Consultant, Financial Planning & Forecasting, this position will be responsible for preparing bank deposits, recording cash receipts, performing accounts receivable functions for the collection of SLGA receivables, maintaining and monitoring all receivables, and preparing reconciliations. This position is also responsible for providing customer service to liquor partners for payment information and transactions.

Job Duties

Prepare bank deposits and records cash receipts to the appropriate accounts.
Perform the Accounts Receivable function for the collection of SLGA receivables.
Use the PeopleSoft Accounts Receivable system to maintain and monitor all receivables.
Process and record journal entries.
Prepare periodic and year-end reconciliations.
Provide a wide variety of Customer Services for internal and external inquiries.
Record and monitor the collection of NSF items.
Test system changes or improvements.
Process credit card and pre-authorized debit transactions within the financial system.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

A certificate or diploma related to Finance or Accounting would be considered an asset
Knowledge of and ability to apply intermediate-level accounting principles, practices and techniques
Ability to understand and apply administrative policies, practices and procedures, and prepare written recommendations
Proficiency in a computerized environment including Excel and Word and software packages such as PeopleSoft Accounts Receivable and PeopleSoft Financials
Ability to independently problem solve, assess, establish, adjust and accurately complete multiple tasks while taking into consideration task complexity, frequent interruptions, deadlines and available resources

Classification: Level 5 ($24.90 – $31.70)
