The Accountant/Book Keeper position will be responsible to perform all aspects of the Accounting and Book Keeping and provide leadership management of the Administrative team.

Position Type

This is a full-time position working primarily out of the Regina office and will report to the Vice President.

Responsibilities

· Provide detailed accounting, cash flow projections and reports to the President and Vice President

· Oversee Administrative staff in areas of book keeping and data entry to ensure prompt processing of all accounts payable and receivables, invoicing, job costing and inventory.

· Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements aged and payables plus bank reconciliation for regular reporting to the financial institution.

· Review employee expenses and company credit card statements for management.

· Provide vacation reconciliation and summaries for all employees to management.

· Benefit and pension enrollment

· PST/GST/Corp tax remittance

· Stats Canada monthly survey completion.

Qualifications

· Completion of post-secondary education with a focus on accounting and/or business

· Experience in an accountant or bookkeeper role (4 plus years)

· Experience in supervising employees

· Excellent computer skills and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point & Share Point)

· Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
