About the Position:
Canature WaterGroup™ is looking for driven, talented, and personable individual to join our team. If you are a new, aspiring Marketing Coordinator looking to make an impact, you will want to consider joining our rapidly expanding business.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for Canature WaterGroup’s (CWG) social media presence, email marketing, print and production projects, as well as the day-to-day administrative work of the marketing department. Our Marketing Coordinator will be a strong collaborator that has the ability to effectively manage assigned projects through to completion. They have a passion for social media as this position will be required to oversee the Company’s social media platforms. The Marketing Coordinator will also be extremely proficient in writing business or organizational communications and have a keen attention to detail and the ability to focus on multiple projects is essential to this role’s success.
Some specific responsibilities include the following. However, this description is intended to provide a general overview of the role and does not encompass all task or responsibilities that may be assigned:
- Email Marketing: responsible for maintaining CWG’s email marketing database in HubSpot and for creating email content. This requires excellent written communication skills, a keen eye for good design and attention to detail in maintaining the database. Experience in HubSpot or previous email marketing experience is an asset to this role.
- Social media: manage CWG’s social accounts by creating content, scheduling posts and setting up advertising campaigns.
- Print and Production Management: responsible working with suppliers to fulfill CWG’s print and product requirements as well as oversee internal literature updates. Requires good project management skills as well as technical knowledge about print and production projects.
- Administrative Work: responsible for day-to-day administrative work including managing the marketing group email account, generating QR codes, CWG’s plumber training program, organizing customer mailouts, setting up item numbers for new projects, and submitting invoices to Accounts Payable. Other administrative work may be required on an as needed basis.
About you:
- Marketing or Communications diploma or degree, or combination of education and experience will be considered
- Two years of relevant marketing experience.
- Previous experience working in a marketing role and social media platforms is preferred
- Experience, training, and/or certifications with social media advertising an asset.
- Demonstrated experience writing business or organizational communications.
- Experience, training and/or certifications in an email marketing platform an asset.
- Proficient in the use of various social media platforms such as Linked In, Instagram, Facebook etc.
- Ability to learn and maintain an email marketing software system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (word / Excel / PowerPoint)
- Proficient in the use of Google Docs / Sheets / Drive
- Strong interpersonal skills with a clear positive customer service approach
- Demonstrates solid commitment to service delivery and issue resolution
- Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Builds strong relationships and establishes credibility through collaboration and influence

About the work environment:
Office:
- Works in an office environment in a seated position within a Warehouse facility. Can be subject to rare temperature fluctuations, noise and dust
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
- Focus and concentration are required to ensure initiatives and implemented and executed per business objectives.
- Additional hours of work may be required occasionally in order to meet deadlines.
- Rare lifting may be required which could include boxes of materials, displays, equipment
