ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

You are a results-oriented team player, with sound judgement and problem-solving skills. Working in a fast paced, demanding environment and reporting to the Manager, Accounts Payable, you process invoices and payments; provide analysis of invoice-related date; prepare journal entries to accrue and adjust expenses; and participate in system/business process changes. You promptly and courteously respond to internal and external inquiries regarding the status of invoices and cheques, and produce reports as required.
You have completed post-secondary accounting courses equivalent to Introductory Financial Accounting CPA preparatory course, and have a minimum 2 years experience working in a financial environment. You have the ability to use MS Word and Excel at the intermediate level, have strong oral and written communication skills, and are knowledgeable in standard accounts payable practices, and computerized accounts payable systems. You have the ability to independently manage time and set priorities for multiple and simultaneous assignments, and are able to analyze various documents to determine accuracy and compliance with standard accounts payable practices and Company policy.
