What You'll Do:
- Prepare accurate financial records and documents with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of financial working papers in line with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Work alongside the Accounting Manager to create draft financial statements and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Prepare government remittances, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide insightful analysis of client operations, supporting them in making informed decisions.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
- Engage in a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, supporting a range of client needs.
What We're Looking For:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance.
- A CPA designation (or working towards one) is a strong asset.
- Previous experience in accounting or internships is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with Microsoft Office and other accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to problem-solve effectively.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
