Adecco presents an exciting opportunity for a Junior Accountant in Edmonton, AB.
We are currently recruiting for a full- time, temporary Junior Accounts Receivable Agent position, working on a contract with our esteemed client, a multinational industry leader in the field of industrial gases and services.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in accounting and customer service. Join our client's workforce, which prioritizes professional growth and fosters a collaborative and welcoming work environment.
- Location: Edmonton, AB (candidate must be a residence of Edmonton area)
- Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 am – 5 pm (Work In-Office)
- Job type: Full-Time | Temporary for 1 month with high possibility of extension, or permanent hire
- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay: $23/hour

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Account Receivable Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and submitting Billing Adjustments
- Handling Collection Calls/Emails
- Distributing invoice/Statement copies
- Setting up Monthly Cash collection in CyberSource
- Processing payments
Requirements and Qualifications:
We expect the following qualifications from our ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Accounting or Business is an asset
- Minimum 6 months of Account receivable or Collection experience is required.
- Customer Service experience in office environment. Experience dealing with customers on daily bases is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with excellent customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite
- Residency in Edmonton is required
- Must be available to start ASAP
- Legal eligibility to work full-time hours in Canada
