The Opportunity
Grizzly Supplies is looking for an experienced
Bookkeeper to join our team in
Surrey, British Columbia. As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Bookkeeper, your key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and analyze monthly income statements and balance sheets for multiple entities
- Prepare monthly and daily KPI reports and quarterly and year end working papers
- Prepare account reconciliations and month end adjusting journal entries
- Classify, code, and summarize data and keep accurate financial records
- Assist with accounts receivable and credit management
- Reconcile accounts payable
- Prepare cheque, ACH, and wire transfers
- Prepare provincial and state tax filings
- Assist with budgets and special projects as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as accounting
- At least three years of related bookkeeping or accounting work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including strong knowledge of Excel
- Experience with NAV is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and motivation to work independently with minimal supervision

The base pay range for this role is: $50,000 to $62,500 per year, depending on experience.

Surrey, British Columbia.
