Primary Objectives:
-
Coordinate and schedule the activities of Mechanics with Managing Partner
-
Order parts as requested/required
-
Implement and coordinate preventative and predictive maintenance activities
-
Prepare and share work reports
-
Verify & receive vendor shipments and report any damages or discrepancies
-
Maintain material stocks and parts inventory including allocating inventory to jobs
-
Prepare and prioritize work orders and schedule service calls and appointments accordingly
-
Handle and respond to inbound calls for both internal and external repairs and/or service.

Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Ensure Company Safety policies and procedures including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE guidelines) are always followed

Education & Experience

A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the service and repair industry is an asset

Strong mechanical background in all phases of truck/trailer repair and maintenance is an asset

Familiar with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Experience working with Mechanics
-
Strong Computer Skills with intermediate abilities in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks
Physical Demands

Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time

Ability to work in an office environment
