About the Job
We are excited to announce we are seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to accelerate our services to new clients and partners. This is a full-time role and requires physical on-site presence at our office in North York (Yonge & Sheppard). You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

EukaPay helps businesses and individuals send or accept crypto payments in-person or online, with zero volatility and no wallets or trading required. We are a crypto payment processor that provides payins and payouts, and offer non-custodial buy or sell crypto services through OTC & EukaSwap.
Our suite of payment services enables businesses to accept crypto through a variety of methods such as invoicing, checkouts, payment links, ticketing, donations, APIs, and POS payments available on iOS, Android, PAX, Clover, Sunmi, and more. EukaPay also provides a robust solution for mass payouts in crypto, serving a broad range of industries. Our vision is to become the world’s largest crypto payment network.
Where You Come In
You will be working very closely with CEO, and responsible for everything under finance, treasury and compliance at the company. In addition, you will be responsible for building the EukaPay operations, bringing our mission to life through trading, financial management, regulatory compliance and operational support.
Ultimately, your execution of financial and operational management will directly result in EukaPay strengthening our products to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Trading and Treasury Management
• Execute and monitor trading activities, including client management and payment handling.
• Reconcile client trades and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting and smooth operations.
• Oversee treasury functions such as cash flow management, balance sheet oversight, and optimizing banking and payment solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate financial and crypto trading systems for enhanced efficiency.
2. Financial Reporting and Compliance
• Prepare and submit financial reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly statements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance for Canadian and US MSB filings.
• Coordinate and prepare for external, IT, and financial audits.
• Conduct variance and competitor analyses, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
3. Client and Sales Support
• Work closely with the CEO to support key sales accounts and provide financial insights.
• Monitor and address client support issues, ensuring smooth resolution and optimal client experience.
• Assist in aligning financial goals with business strategies through daily sync meetings.
4. Operational and Contract Management
• Manage key contracts and commercial agreements using digital tools such as DocuSign.
• Streamline and document workflows across departments to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage business KPIs to track and improve performance metrics.
5. Product and Business Development
• Collaborate on the development and launch of new financial products and services tailored to client and market needs.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in trading, financial analysis, treasury management, or financial operations.
• Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, Excel, and regulatory tools.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, financial reporting, and audit processes.
• Familiarity with OTC trading, cryptocurrency, blockchain, or the fintech industry is preferred.
• Experience with regulatory compliance reporting for financial services or MSB industries.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CAMS (not required but a plus).
