Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Finance & Accounting (F&A) department. This is a 12-month contract/acting opportunity and will report to the Manager of Financial Operations. The selected candidate will perform AR and AP duties while adhering to company policies. They will be responsible for reconciliation between interfaces and troubleshoot reconciling items. Additionally, they will provide excellent customer service to those with AR and AP-related queries.

What You’ll be Doing:
- Conduct receivables and aging analysis
- Manage the invoice process from beginning to end
- Input related party (RLP) invoices to global netting (GN) system
- Prepare payment proposal on weekly basis
- Conduct accurate payments based on a set schedule, including cheque, EFT, and GN
- Process employee parts purchase payment, employee parts return, dealer invoices and credits on demo vehicles
- Reconcile all AR Interfaces in SAP and inquire on any discrepancies
- Follow up with business units/RLP on disputed invoices
- Work with Information Services (IS) to troubleshoot and resolve the discrepancies
- Work with Extra Care Protection (ECP) team to reconcile and prepare ECP cancellation payment
- Answer internal and external inquiries via phone and email, provide supporting documents as needed
- Contribute to the timely and accurate reporting of financial results
- Ensure SOX compliance
- Reconcile global netting reports and clear GN payments in SAP
- Prepare for monthly dealer account refund
- Daily cheque deposit management
What You’ll Bring:
- University degree in accounting or a relevant field
- Accounting designation or CPA enrollment is an asset
- 1+ years’ work experience in accounts receivable
- Experience with an ERP system (SAP preferred)
- Knowledgeable in accounting processes
- Understanding of systems, processes and internal controls over financial information
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Analytical, problem solving & organizational skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Strong customer focus with the ability to find new ways of addressing business requirements
- Personal integrity and ethics
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset
