ROLE SUMMARY AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a dynamic individual to take on critical pieces of our centralized services team, ranging from people supports, finance and business performance reporting to data management. This role involves managing special projects, taking a leadership role on accounting deliverables alongside our Controller, providing oversight and direction to Accounts Receivable, and ensuring data integrity for our operations.
Reporting directly to the General Manager and Vice President, the ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set, strong organizational capabilities, strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
This role offers opportunities for expansion as the individual grows into senior leadership and will involve exposure to multiple operating companies.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Ensure A/R KPIs are met, oversee claims from major customers, troubleshoot A/R challenges as an escalation point, and serve as the primary contact for key accounts, including Coca-Cola Canada.
- Data Management Lead: Ensure data integrity in key systems by developing standard operating procedures, complete required reporting, and act as the primary contact for customer claims, A/R, data transfers, and external software vendors.
- Privacy Officer: Act as the companies Privacy Officer, ensuring guidelines are understood, upheld and refreshed as needed
- People and Payroll: Provide HR advisory support to the leadership team, manage employee records, oversee benefits administration, process payroll, and assist with T4s and year-end reporting.
- Internal and External Relationships: Work cross functionally with the RDB and MAC Leadership Team to support special projects as well as routine activities. Enhance customer relationships both internal and external of the company.
- Financial and Business Performance Analysis: Conduct KPI reporting, assist in data analysis, and support reconciliations and monthly reporting while providing oversight for bookkeeping activities across multiple operating companies and coaching teams on data interpretation.
- Operational Excellence Projects: Work in partnership with the GM/VP to drive Operational Excellence Projects including an operating system implementation and digitization efforts
IMPORTANT DETAILS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ Experience in financial reporting, AR and collections, project management, and data analysis is a strong asset.
- Beverage and/or Grocery, Retail industry related experience is an asset
- Supervisory experience preferred
