We are seeking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team. This position is hybrid, with 8-12 hours spent in one client’s office and working remotely each week.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial accounting for clients, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full cycle accounting.
- Prepare and maintain financial records for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and receipts.
- Reconcile bank accounts and track donations, grants, and funding.
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of non-profit accounting principles, including fund accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with remote teams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
