We are hiring a Bookkeeper/Office Administrator for our rural business located in Red Deer County.
Hours: 20-40/wk depending on qualifications, work load, and the successful candidate's availability.
Responsibilities:
- Receptionist duties to include answering calls, assisting customers & suppliers, processing payments
- All aspects of the monthly accounting process including: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, monthly bank and visa reconciliations
- Government remittances, T4's & ROE's online
- Multiple company books (one primary and a few holding companies)
- Preparing year end for the external accountant
- Experience with booking freight & courier shipments (both domestic and US) and working with customs documents is preferred
Qualifications:
- Complete working knowledge of Sage 50 software
- Minimum 3 years accounting & clerical work experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access)
- Good attendance, organized, excellent time management, attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
