Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our finance team, you will:
- Develop, monitor, and implement financial objectives for the department.
- Allocate company funds effectively to ensure optimal departmental performance.
- Set realistic financial goals and establish controls to maximize productivity.
- Manage all financial affairs for the organization, including cash flow and investment management.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with IIROC policies and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or an equivalent professional certification.
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing teams in finance and accounting.
- Strong experience in reading and interpreting complex financial reports and effectively communicating them to stakeholders.
- Experience in land development and/or new home construction.
- Exceptional skills in financial management, including monitoring, allocation, and control of finances on a large scale.
- Strong leadership and managerial abilities, with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to present financial analysis and projections to company stakeholders clearly.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
