VIDA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, focusing on making collection calls and resolving tenant inquiries. This role plays an essential part in strengthening our communities and driving key business metrics.

The Role:
As the Accounts Receivable Clerk, your responsibilities will include:
- Track, report, and collect receivables, including making proactive collection calls for outstanding rent
- Deposit cheques, enter batch payments, and reconcile customer accounts to resolve discrepancies promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Maintain accurate records of customer information, lease agreements, and transaction history
- Ensure customer accounts are updated throughout their tenancy
- Gather data to support financial reporting and presentations
What you'll bring to this role:
- A customer-first approach, with a commitment to providing excellent service and resolving inquiries effectively
- Confidence making persuasive and professional phone calls for collections
- Experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role is an asset
- Aptitude for technology, with basic skills in Excel and experience with Microsoft Office programs
