We are looking to hire an Accounting Administrator for our Accounting Department of Summit Salon Business Center (www.summitsalon.com), located in Burnside Industrial Park, Dartmouth, NS. The qualified candidate must be extremely comfortable with an ever-changing, fast-paced, high-volume environment, as well as be a team player, able to provide superior customer service, have an outgoing personality, and enjoy interacting with a variety of people. We have an amazing team of people and are looking for the right person to fit in.

Education / Experience:

Post secondary education in administration with Accounting.
Minimum 2 years administrative experience.
Experience in processing invoices and reconciling payments.

Skills Required:

Ability to provide superior customer service to clients and colleagues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High degree of accuracy.
Problem solver with good diplomacy skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
Experience in Netsuite would be considered an asset (not required).
Able to meet strict deadlines.

Role Objective:

To ensure the accurate recording of all receivables, set up payment plans for clients, and maintenance of accounts receivable.

Tasks:

§ Process daily invoicing.

§ Process Credit Card transactions.

§ Account reconciliation.

§ Reporting.

§ Other administrative tasks as needed.
