High School Teacher: Economics, Accounting and Business
We are a well-established, mid-size private school in east Mississauga and are committed to educating the whole student in academics, arts, athletics, and citizenship. Our expert and compassionate faculty and staff ensure inspired learning daily for over 500 students. Our graduates earn an average of 5.5 university acceptance offers each year and are prepared to succeed at university and beyond.
Our student population continues to grow, as we have planned. This is due to the great work of our faculty and staff team in this outstanding facility. This optimal number of students will ensure each student benefits from engaging choices in courses, extra-curricular activities, and relationships.
We have identified the need for a High School Business, Economics and Accounting Teacher to join our team from November 2024-June 2025. We seek a teacher with the energy, experience, and resourcefulness needed to do the best for our students.
Required Background
· Ontario College of Teachers Certification (an asset)
· Knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum and Growing Success
· History of dynamic and effective teaching in a variety of Canadian schools and divisions
· Exceptional collaboration skills in work with colleagues
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
· A proven ability to support students to do their best
